The Preferred Dealer Representative will partner with select retailers across the country, build dedicated business relationships with them and improve the customer experience. He/ She will improve communications and increase the effectiveness of the sales process. This begins as early as the specification stage at the architectural level through product installation at the jobsite.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and establish direct dealer contacts within each functional group such as management, sales, and purchasing.
  • Facilitate the order process by ensuring that the correct accessories are ordered, shipped and installed to maintain code and warranty compliance.
  • Provide assistance in project estimating and pricing materials.
  • Deliver local customized contractor and installer training to increase their product knowledge and positively impact customer experience.
  • Support continuing education in the contractor and installer network by partnering in local training events held at and in partnership with our preferred dealers.
  • Improve project collaboration by bridging communication between the bidding of general contractors/subcontractors and material delivery to the jobsite.
  • Deliver focused sales and marketing campaigns to custom residential segment.
  • Identify key stakeholders within each submarket to target for future growth.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree is a strongly preferred for this position
  • CDT certification a plus
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in building materials pulling through the architectural channels and influencing specifications
